790 worked on the Cluster for his divine shadow conducting such tasks as transforming women into love slaves. Whilst transforming Zev, 790’s human body was consumed by a cluster lizard (the same lizard which had its head removed and merged with Zev) and his robot head was left. Before the machine could complete the love slave transformation (programming Zev’s mind to be a love slave) Zev placed 790’s head in place of hers and he received the love slave programming. On opening his eye screens he saw Zev and proclaimed “I will love you forever”. After following Zev and ending up on the Lexx with her-790 became a crewmember of the Lexx and spent most of his time adoring Zev. 790 was then broken after arriving at the planets Fire and Water, he was fixed by Kai and Kai was consequently the first thing he saw when he awoke, so now 790 loves Kai.
